General Nash District
Adult Recognition Dinner
16 March 2006
Each year, the General Nash District holds a dinner to recognize the efforts of the District's adult volunteers and provide a carefree evening out. The dinner is preceded by a slide show of photographs from Cub and Scout events of the previous year and live entertainment is provided by General Nash's own "Not Ready for Prime Time" players. The photos below show some of Troop 461's attendees at the dinner. The photo below left shows Committee Secretary Barb Johnson next to Scoutmaster Harold Frederick. Also seen are Committee Member Doug Floro and Assistant Scoutmaster Tom Isban (back to camera) and Mrs. Isban. In the photo below right is Assistant Scoutmaster Zach Wile with his girlfriend, Fawn Liberto.

In addition to recognizing the efforts of the District's volunteers, those Scouts who have attained the rank of Eagle during the previous year are also recognized. This past year, Troop 461 had three of its Scouts attain the rank of Eagle Scout: Joshua Comden, Troy Gärthe; and Gregory Saltzman. Unfortunately, as a result of college schedules, only Gregory Saltzman was able to attend this year's recognition dinner and be recognized by the District as a member of the Eagle Scout class of 2005. The photos below show Eagle Scout Gregory Saltzman being given the General Nash District Eagle Scout Achievement Award by District Eagle Board Chair Chuck Arkens (below left) and being individually recognized on stage (below right).
